She rose from the floor like a living flame wrapped in geometry. Every ruffle, every line of her body a triangle of memory.
The guitar struck once and the tears began to fall. Fresh tears for a thousand eyes, a thousand cries, a thousand gunshots that once stole mothers and brothers.
Yet she danced. Boots hammering the boards, skirts whipping like wings, she sang the old Gypsy song with her whole spine.
In that moment the price of freedom was paid not in blood alone, but in the honest fire of a heart that refused to stay innocent.
The innocent fell so the free could rise. And in her dance the guitar remembered: every scar, every loss, every tear became the rhythm that keeps the soul alive.
