The Story:

In the hushed halls of an old estate on the edge of Jefferson, Georgia, curator Miguel Bennett stood before a stranger’s gift: a gilded frame clutched by gloved hands in a faded photograph. The poem inside glowed like embers on dark canvas.

He had spent decades restoring “painted poems,” believing each line was merely ink on paper. That night, alone, he read aloud: “Every moment is a painting / A canvas titled, ‘You.’”

He had always painted over those moments, convinced a new stroke could erase the past. Life was never a blank canvas to be redone. It was already titled “You,” and every moment simply added another line, another colour.
